Middle-Income Homeownership

About the Event:

There is a growing need for middle-income homeownership opportunities throughout Indian Country. Our free, one-hour discussion will cover the variables that must be considered in a homeownership development and financing strategy: construction cost, determining market demand, sales price points to ensure affordability and market capture, construction and permanent financing, impact of interest rates and loan terms. With the right plan and development strategy, tribes and TDHEs are able to benefit from economies of scale and pass on homeownership opportunities that are less expensive to tribal members. We invite those working in housing, community or economic development and who serve American Indian, Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian communities to join us.
