About the Event:

Sealaska Heritage’s Celebration 2018 will be held June 6-9 in Juneau. The theme is “Respect: Weigh Your Words.” Two interrelated clans from the Haines and Klukwan area will lead Celebration 2018: the Raven Lukaax.ádi Clan and the Eagle Shangukeidí Clan.

In addition to dance performances, Celebration includes a wide array of associated events—all open to the public, unless otherwise noted. Please note that this is a preliminary schedule and content is subject to change.

Volunteers (Apply) SHI is recruiting volunteers for Celebration 2018, scheduled June 6-8. We could not offer Celebration with the help of volunteers. Volunteers who donate a minimum of 4 hours get a free, one-day pass and t-shirt while supplies last.
