NCAI's Jacqueline Pata appeared on MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry show to talk about the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and the importance of the tribal provisions for Native women.

With the House considering VAWA in the next week, NCAI has called on Indian Country to raise its voice and ensure that the tribal provisions are included in House versions of VAWA.
