Vision Maker Media is the premiere source of public media by and about Native Americans for 48 years, located in Lincoln, NE. Our mission is empowering and engaging Native people to share stories, with a vision of a world changed and healed by understanding Native stories. We work with VMM funded producers to develop, produce, and distribute programs for all public media and support training for American Indians and Alaska Natives producing public broadcasting programs.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Chief Projects Officer at Vision Maker Media. The Chief Projects Officer will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, project management, and program management on a day-to-day basis. This role is located in Lincoln, NE, with flexibility for some remote work.

Budgeting expertise

Project Management and Program Management experience

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Experience in the media industry or with Native American communities is a plus

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
