Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor degree in environmental science, public administration, legal or related field and eight years of pertinent work experience, at least two of which must be doing policy analyst work OR Master degree in environmental science, public administration, legal or related field and seven years of pertinent work experience, at least two of which must be doing policy analyst work. Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental protection statutes and authorities is required. Experience in tribal government relations is highly desirable. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills are necessary. A legal background in natural resources and treaty rights is strongly desired. An understanding of anadromous fish biology, and habitat needs is desired.


Duties & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide policy analysis, support and coordination on emerging environmental protection / habitat issues for Commission and member tribes to advance habitat protection and restoration objectives necessary to the protection of tribal treaty rights and resources.

Salary & Benefits

$84,886 to $119,281 annually
