Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to achieve profit objectives. Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation

Under the direction of the Tribal Council, this position is responsible for directing, administering and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation Lucky 7 Casino Enterprises, Fuel Mart and Howonquet Lodge in accordance with policies, goals and objectives established by the Tribal Council. The selected legal counsel will work under the FSAGC’s direction. Upon selection, the selected legal counsel will first meet with the FSAGC virtually and then independently review the current draft Ordinance. After their independent review, the selected legal counsel will collaborate with the FSAGC to complete a final draft to recommend to the Fort Sill Chiricahua Warm Springs Apache Business Committee for enactment. The FSAGC’s goal is to complete this project by July 9, 2026. Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission 

The Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission (“FSAGC”) regulates gaming conducted on Fort Sill Chiricahua Warm Springs Apache Tribal land. The FSAGC seeks legal representation to assist in an ongoing project to amend the Tribe’s Gaming Ordinance. The FSAGC already undertook an intensive internal review of the current Ordinance. The FSAGC now seeks legal services to further refine the Ordinance to ensure compliance with federal law and current gaming trends. Amnesty International USA 

The Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Fellow (1 Year Fixed Term) will be housed in AIUSA’s Research and Programs Unit, reporting to the Gender, Sexuality and Identity Program Director. House Committee on Natural Resources, Democratic Staff

The House Natural Resources Committee Democrats seek full-time interns for Summer 2026 (June 1 - July 31). Applicants must be organized, detail oriented, and dependable. Above all, we seek candidates who are passionate about issues within the Natural Resources Committee’s jurisdiction, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, and are eager to learn about committee process. Interns will conduct legislative research, prepare for hearings, assist with administrative duties, perform outreach, and aid communications. 

Monthly stipend of $3,200 plus transit benefits. 

Preferred qualifications: Demonstrates an awareness of and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and orientations. Understands how HNRC issues intersect with racism, economic and social inequality in the United States, and has a passion for working to dismantle these systems.
