Maintains a caseload of 12-15 with a minimum of 14 hours of service contact per month per client to include weekly face-to-face contacts with the client while promoting tribal wraparound philosophy and practices.

Assemble a Tribal WrapAround Team within two (2) weeks of referral by interviewing the client, identifying family members/natural supports/agency representatives and other significant persons. Uncover the client's strengths and needs, provides assistance with any immediate needs, as well as completes the initial Crisis Plan.

Within the first 30 days, coordinates the meeting of the Team and develops the initial individualized Plan of Care (POC) based on the identified strengths and needs, including a comprehensive 24-hour Crisis Plan. The Plan should reflect the best possible fit with the culture, values and beliefs of the client.

Monitor the provision and quality of services provided to the client and family through the Team and is the liaison when new services/resources need to be sought or developed.

Provides or arranges for transportation for his/her clients to appointments, crisis/emergency services, etc., if needed.

Provides or secures support and crisis/emergency services for the client.

Completes all the necessary paperwork in a strength-based manner and maintains accurate information on-line, ensuring that demographic information is up-to-date, as well.

Collaborates with other system partners such as Indian Health Services, Behavioral Health, Probation / Parole, Courts, Elder & Disability Services, Veteran Services, and Child Welfare to bring them together as tribal wraparound team to help empower the client toward self-sufficiency and independence.

Shall dress in a respectful manner and maintain a respectful demeanor and presentation at all times.

Provide written and verbal information related to the client's behavioral and mental health based on assessment and contact.

Provide a comprehensive community-based safety plan with innovative strategies to assist the client in being maintained safely in the least restrictive setting.

Collaborates and partners with inter and intra agencies.

Assists in the development and expansion of the Housing Department Programs as directed.

Meets with leadership, clinical, and consultation for discussions and clarification on various issues as necessary.

Attends all required meetings and training.

Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians 

The Tribal WrapAround Care Coordinator is responsible for providing intensive care coordination for individuals, families, and youth who have been identified as being high risk for homelessness or is currently homeless. The care coordination will identify system partners such as Indian Health Services, Behavioral Health, Probation / Parole, Courts, Elder & Disability Services, Veteran Services, and Child Welfare to bring them together as tribal wraparound team to help empower the client toward self-sufficiency and independence. The position assists and aids individuals and families requiring assistance from the Tribe. The position fills a central role in linking homeless individuals and families to an appropriate housing plan of care and supporting them in tenancy sustaining services. The goal is to facilitate rapid and resourced exits from homelessness into permanent supportive housing and provides participant advocacy, case management, benefit establishment, linkage to Mental Health and/or Substance Use Services, linkage to stable housing and all other supportive services as needed.

This position is funded in full or in-part through Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP), Housing and Disability Advocacy Program (HDAP), Bringing Families Home (BFH), Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH), HomeSafe, Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act (NAHSDA). The worker will be assigned a focus population but cross-trained in all areas and expected to assist with other focus populations based on company and community need.

There are no direct reports for supervisory responsibilities for this position, but the position does require oversight, guidance, and direction for direct service providers.

The Alliance seeks five dedicated and detail-oriented Policy Fellows to work with the Policy Team to pursue a bold agenda around tribal energy sovereignty. This position will report to the Senior Advisor for Tax, Policy, and Government Relations. It will work closely with peer Fellows to aid in developing timely policy papers, conduct research on federal and state policies, their impact on Tribes, and how to leverage government programs in service to Tribal sovereignty. Two Policy Fellows with be focused on policy with programs like Race to the Top. Three Fellows will focus on FERC primarily, with two policy-focused and one history-focused) as the Policy Pillar works closely with FERC in real life and is developing a broader strategy for regulation reform and improvements. The Policy Pillar of ATCE exists to drive a bold agenda with an eye on sovereignty, economic development, and clean energy transition. Through engagement, listening, and thought leadership, the Policy Pillar focuses on education through publishing policy papers, hosting and attending events, and exchanging information. The Policy team works directly with federal agencies and contractors to transform internal processes, such as merit review and consultation with Tribes, all while building the groundwork for a thriving and sustainable organization with a clear strategy and a cadre of policy leaders through the Advisory Council (2024 launch), meaningful partnerships, and more Fellowships and workforce. Through new and existing relationships, the Alliance collaborates closely with stakeholders in Washington, D.C., and around the country in service to Tribal energy sovereignty. The Alliance supports the state-Tribal landscape as a trusted resource, catalyst, and connector occurring in the Administrative and Legislative sectors, as well as working with NGOs and Trade Groups. It is committed to building a Tribal Clean Energy future. This is a half-time position.

Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in History, Native American studies, or related liberal arts field. ● An advanced degree in law, policy, or history is desirable. ● Proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably for a Native American Tribe, Tribal Organization, or Indigenous non-profit setting. ● Proficient with word processing software. ● Experience working in a Google Workspace cloud environment. ● Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. ● Experience working within Native American/Indigenous communities is highly desirable. ● This is a fully remote position. Policy Fellow 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Community Resource Engagement Specialist will: ● Establish relationships and build program awareness among the Tribes and Tribal organizations within Region 8 that will build capacity for effective engagement with governmental officials at all levels to ensure Tribal perspectives, experiences, and expertise inform the development of policies and programs, as well as delivery on environmental and energy justice issues. ● Deliver technical assistance programming for a range of program participants that builds their grantsmanship, project management, financial planning, sustainability, social, civic, economic, and leadership capacities. ● Connect Tribes and Tribal organizations with TCTAC volunteers for community-driven projects, including problem-solving meetings, research and reporting, and comprehensive, actionable emails. ● Track work in project databases and collect data and feedback to help monitor and evaluate outcome-based programs. ● Connect communities with additional technical, grant, legal, and scientific resources such as decision-makers within government, advocacy, and academia; federal and foundation grants; and pro bono legal support. ● Schedule meetings for communities and potential experts and organizations. ● Produce webinars, trainings, templates (including grant templates), and other capacity-building tools so that additional communities can benefit from TCTAC programming ● Broadly share findings formally and informally. ● Provide stipends, travel support, and subsistence to enable Native Americans, whether or not they are enrolled members of a Tribe, to participate in workshops, events, and facilitated meetings.

The primary focus of the Community Resource and Engagement Specialist (CRES) is planning, delivering, coordinating, and evaluating technical assistance programs that build the capacity of Tribal communities to address environmental and energy justice priorities. This position is one of a team of five full-time, community-facing staff central to the mission of the Mountains and Plains Thriving Communities Collaborative (MaPTCC). This full-time, term-limited position is funded by a 5-year cooperative agreement between the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Montana State University (MSU), administered by the Alliance for Tribal Clean Energy (ATCE).

The position requires regular presence at the Nation’s Office of Water Administration in Dulce, New Mexico, Jicarilla Apache Nation, and extensive travel throughout the Colorado River Basin. Tribal and Indian preference applies. The Water Commission will interview selected candidates and make recommendations to the President of the Nation regarding its findings. The Water Administrator will ultimately be appointed by the President and confirmed by the Council. The salary of the Water Administrator will be set by the Council and will be commensurate with education and experience.

Jicarilla Apache Nation 

The Jicarilla Apache Nation, located in northern New Mexico seeks applications from qualified individuals to serve as the Nation’s Water Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the Jicarilla Office of Water Administration, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Nation’s Water Code, and the conditions of all permits, orders, regulations, and other actions taken and policies and guidelines established by the Water Commission.

By law, the Nation’s Water Administrator shall be a technically qualified, registered, professional engineer or hydrologist possessing at least a master’s degree in a water-related discipline; or a bachelor’s degree and not less than three years’ experience in water resource management, water rights administration, or water development or engineering. Knowledge regarding the Colorado River Basin and experience with intergovernmental relationships is highly preferred.

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, the Chief Prosecutor will serve as the Director of the Office of the Tribal Prosecutor and will supervise the attorneys in the Office who represent the Yurok Tribe in the prosecution of civil and criminal code offenses committed within the jurisdiction of the Yurok Tribal Court. The Chief Prosecutor/Director will be responsible for the coordination of all activities as they relate to the creation, planning, organization, and implementation of the Office of the Tribal Prosecutor. This position will work closely with the Chief of Yurok Tribal Police, Tribal Courts, Public Relations, Yurok Tribe Environmental Department, District Attorneys, local Tribes, and other relevant departments and agencies. The Chief Prosecutor/Director will also work with local, state, and federal judicial and law enforcement agencies to ensure proper support and adjudication of cases impacting the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons epidemic, as well as oversee and implement policy initiatives relevant to this goal. The Chief Prosecutor/Director will supervise the implementation of Special Domestic Violence Criminal Jurisdiction pursuant to the Violence Against Women Act.
